Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure, on behalf of the organizing committee, to welcome you to LaserTech-2027, which will take place from 26 to 28 July 2027 in London, UK. We are delighted to bring together researchers, engineers, academics and professionals from across the lasers, optics and photonics community for three days of scientific exchange and discussion.
LaserTech-2027 will explore a broad spectrum of topics at the forefront of modern optics, including laser physics, nonlinear and ultrafast optics, quantum optics and quantum information, nanophotonics, optical metamaterials and devices, biophotonics and medical optics, together with advanced optical engineering and industrial applications of laser science and technology. Particular attention will also be given to recent developments in imaging, holography and optical metrology, reflecting the rapidly expanding role of photonics in both fundamental research and emerging technologies.
A central objective of the conference is to encourage meaningful scientific exchange across disciplines. A rich programme of plenary, keynote and invited presentations will provide an opportunity to share recent advances, discuss new ideas and explore perspectives extending beyond individual areas of research. We hope that the meeting will create ample opportunities for effective communication within our interdisciplinary community, as well as for exchanging the scientific and technical details that often provide the foundation for new ideas and future research.

With its centuries of history, iconic landmarks and remarkable cultural heritage, London is at the same time one of the world's most dynamic and forward-looking cities, with a strong presence in science, technology, engineering and innovation. This fascinating combination of tradition and modernity will provide an inspiring backdrop for both the scientific programme and the informal moments of the conference.
